La Vie en Royal
The Palace and its gardens are a sight to behold, but sometimes it’s difficult to know where to begin and how to get a head start on the queues. Book a guided tour and let us lead you past the line and straight into the Château.
To see the fantastic fountains, visit on a weekend (and Tuesday in May and June) experience the majestic musical fountains show – made up of 55 fountains, totalling 99 jets. And for an extra spectacular visit, Saturdays in summer are the way to go. From Masquerade balls to Electro Festivals – you'll see Versailles in a whole new light. Fancy something more demure? Christmas at Versailles also has its charm. Papa Noël is waiting!

Our Versailles Bike Tours meet in Paris at Gare Montparnasse train station and we travel to Versailles together by train (only 12 minutes!). Alternatively, we can meet you directly at Versailles, just let us know and we can rendez-vous there!
If you do decide to go your own way, we recommend the speedy line N or the TER regional trains from Paris Montparnasse, where you can hop off at the first stop – Versailles Chantiers. From there, it is a lovely, leisurely 15-20 minute walk to the Palais. During the summer, we rent our bikes from here, so you can royally roll into the gardens!
You can also take the RER line C to the Versailles Château Rive Gauche station. On weekdays, the RER C serves a number of stations throughout the center of Paris, but on weekends it exclusively starts from Invalides making its way through the rest of the line down to Versailles. For the most reliable information, it’s worth checking timetables and status updates the night before on the SNCF Connect.
